This is a new MackBeth Whistle, #27, a two piece brass high D model with brass head and green plastic fipple plug. It is a prototype model for this style.  When disassembled it measures just under 6.5 inches.

This whistle is quiet with some noticeable backpressure while playing.  It may take some practice to get used to this, since backpressure is more commonly experienced with certain makes of loud low whistles.  This whistle has a discount applied because there is a tiny bit of ‘wobble’ between the two pieces when assembled, due to not quite hitting the exact tolerances needed with available tooling.  As usual it can be returned if it’s not to the buyer’s liking.
