7.6 oz White 56s Fiber

Description

This dyed roving is 216.3 g (7.63 oz) in weight and dyed with royal blue and turquoise acid dyes, resulting in a lovely mix of blue shades. The fibre is “White 56’s English” sourced when I was living in London. It’s a very big braid! Spin singles or ply it with itself to get nearly 8 ounces of finished yarn. Ply it with another similar shade to make it stretch even further.

I dyed this pre-processed roving myself. After dyeing the fibre was gently rinsed to ensure that no minimum of loose dye remained. It’s a soft fibre and is suitable for spinning or felting.
