Description
This is a new MackBeth Whistle, #28, a telescoping brass high D model with brass head and white plastic fipple plug. When collapsed it measures about 6.25 inches. The whistle is tunable by adjusting the position of the top section.
This whistle is classified as moderate and balanced between octaves. It would be great for sessions. Any cross fingerings for C natural seem to work well. A ring has been attached to the end piece to aid in collapsing/extension. Visit MackBeth Whistles to hear a sound sample.
