3.35 oz Falkland Fiber

Description

This dyed roving is 95.1 g (3.35 oz) in weight and dyed with royal blue and crimson acid dyes, resulting in a colourway of deep blues and hints of cherry-red on a base of creamy white. The fibre is Falkland sourced when I was living in London. Spin singles or ply it with itself to get over 3 ounces of finished yarn. Ply it with another similar shade to make it stretch even further.

I dyed this pre-processed roving myself. After dyeing the fibre was gently rinsed to ensure that no minimum of loose dye remained. It’s very soft and is suitable for spinning or felting.
